The Leaky Cauldron This little Wizarding pub is a brilliant place to get yourself a decent meal and a warm drink with friends. If you're not here for that, then you must be looking for a place to buy your supplies. Just head to the wall out back. Tap the bricks three up and two across, this will reveal an archway leading to Diagon Alley and Knockturn Alley.

Residences When the witches and wizards of the magical world aren’t hard at work or studying the ways of magic, they have a home that they return too for a bit of down time. Some of these homes are empty, quietly waiting for their occupants to return while others are filled with bustling families. There are also those out there that wish to go on relaxing trips away from the daily grind. If you would like to create a home of your own or go on a nice trip, feel free to do so here.

Owl Post One of the many benefits of being a witch or wizard is the fact that you can send mail via owl post. Regardless of where you are in the wizarding world, as long as you have access to an owl, you can send mail to friends and family. So, if you have mail that you wish to send publicly in character, feel free to do so here. Please don’t confuse the Owl Post board with Private Owls, they are two different things entirely!

The Grounds When the weather is good the grounds of Hogwarts become a very busy place. There are lawns stretching out over the rolling hills around the castle. Gardens, filled with beautiful magical and muggle plants, can be found just off of the castle courtyards. The quidditch pitch is nearby for those wishing to have a game, and there are classes spread out throughout the grounds as well. Come out and take a look about.

The Dungeons Nearly all of the students at Hogwarts would tell you that the dungeons are a creepy place to be. Even though it gives many the chills as they descend into the darkness, into the darkness they must go. Here you can find the potions classroom, Hufflepuff and Slytherin common rooms, the kitchens, and the popular Sorcerers’ Stone Passage.

Ground Floor This is the very first floor that all students get to see when they first arrive at Hogwarts. Here you will find one of the most important places in the entire castle, the Great Hall. This is where all students and staff come for a bite to eat throughout the day. Should you look about, you will also come across the Caretaker’s office, empty classrooms, and the staff room.

First Floor This level of Hogwarts is probably one of the busiest out of them all. The student's lounge seems to draw quite a bit of traffic. However, the real attention grabber is Defence Against the Dark Arts. Muggle Studies and History of Magic are on this floor as well. Have a look-see about, you never know what might be hidden in the secrets of the castle.

Second Floor Most would find the second floor of Hogwarts rather boring. The only classes available are Ancient Runes and Arithmancy, both of which call for a very specific sort of interest in either subject. You can also find Moaning Myrtle's toilet, but it's been closed for years. If you need to talk with the Head Mistress, you can also find her office on this floor. Oh...and another new addition is the Room of Illumination.

Third Floor Even though the third floor is mostly known for being the home of the forbidden corridor, it is important for much more significant reasons. One of these reasons is that the Hospital Wing is located here. So, if you’re feeling a bit under the weather don’t hesitate to pay a visit to the school nurse. You can also find the trophy room and the armor gallery on the third floor as well.

Fourth Floor Typically, there are two types of students that inhabit the fourth floor, the brainy students and the daring students. Why, you might ask, is that so? Because not only is the school library located on this floor, but so is the dueling club! You can also find the recently discovered Chamber of Fountains as well.

Fifth Floor There are quite a few things going on around the fifth floor of the castle. Not only are there two classrooms bustling with students, there are also curious rooms and chambers filled with all sorts of interesting things and place. Let your inquisitive nature take over and have a look around.

Sixth Floor Many might think that the sixth floor is nothing more than an abandoned level of the castle. However, it is far from empty. Not only will you find classrooms in use, but you will also find a handful in interesting rooms, corridors, and passages as well.

Seventh Floor On the seventh floor you can find all sorts of interesting things and place, but the most interesting by far is the Room of Requirement. There are also loads of classrooms all the way up here, though most of the classrooms are empty or being used for storage.

The Towers Scattered throughout the structure of Hogwarts, there are many different towers stretching high above the seven floors that make up the castle. These towers are home to both Gryffindor and Ravenclaw house, as well as a variety of classrooms teaching all sorts of things. And, if you are up for a bit of sneaking about, there are other interesting places to be found as well.

OOC Chatter Even though we all love role-playing as somebody else, sometimes we just need to be ourselves. If you want to just sit back and talk about things that don’t involve being in character, feel free to come on in and chat about whatever is on your mind.
